Dieppe Bay House is a beautiful six bedroom sea front villa – the perfect place for a fabulous idyllic Caribbean escape. The villa has its own private swimming pool and large tropical gardens. Dieppe Bay House is nestled on the western shore of Falmouth Harbour in the south of Antigua and guests can enjoy the stunning views across the sea and to the distant masts of the Antigua Yacht Club.
Dieppe Bay House has been furnished with elegant colonial-style antique teak and mahogany furniture. The five bedrooms in the main house can sleep between ten to fourteen plus another two in the separate cottage.
Two bedrooms are located on the upper level and three bedrooms are located on the ground floor.
Master Bedroom -The ‘piece de resistance’ of Dieppe Bay House is the 500sq ft master bedroom on the first floor with its own 30ft sea view terrace and a rear balcony overlooking the courtyard. This beautiful, light room has windows on two sides and breathtaking views of the sea. With a polished wood floor, the main bedroom has a Kingsize four poster bed and other fine pieces of antique furniture. There is an ensuite bathroom with bath and separate shower, separate toilet and double basins. Facilities include a walk in wardrobe and TV/DVD/CD player with ipod docking station, air conditioning, electric ceiling fans, shutters with mosquito screens, mosquito nets, personal safe.
Bedroom Two – The second double bedroom with four poster bed is also upstairs and has its own private balcony with sun loungers overlooking the pool, gardens and sea beyond.It has its own spacious private shower room with toilet and double basin right next door. Facilities include air conditioning, electric ceiling fan, shutters with mosquito screens, mosquito nets, personal safe.
Bedroom Three – The Seaview Room has French windows leading on to its own verandah and is furnished in a colonial style. This room has the option of being made up as a double or twin. The Seaview Room has an ensuite bathroom with separate bath and shower, toilet and wash basin. Facilities include air conditioning, electric ceiling fan, shutters with mosquito screens, mosquito nets, personal safe.
Bedrooms four and five are similar. Twin bedded room with a ‘truckle’, giving the option of sleeping 3 in these rooms. Each bedroom has an en-suite shower room with toilet and wash basin. Facilities include air conditioning, electric ceiling fan, shutters with mosquito screens, mosquito nets, personal safe.
The cottage is available for a supplement and can be made up as a twin or a double and is separate from the house, situated in its own private area of the garden. There is an en-suite bathroom with double-ended free standing bath, separate walk-in shower, toilet and double wash basins.
There are plenty of areas to relax at Dieppe Bay House.
The spacious verandah/reception is the main relaxing and socialising area, brightly decorated in Caribbean colours and furnished with lots of comfortable seating in a mixture of modern and antique pieces. It includes a large dining area seating up to 14.
There’s a TV area indoors with comfy sofa for relaxing while watching Cable TV and a DVD player with a library of films to choose from. A CD player is also provided.
A separate office/media room has a projector and DVD machine with chairs and bean bags. Plus, for those who need to work, there’s a desk for some quiet time.
Outside, around the pool and garden, there are plenty of sun loungers for everyone, in and out of the shade, plus hammocks and rustic benches. A great place to relax and enjoy the views.
For alfresco eating, there is a large shaded terrace with stunning views of the sea to the front of the house where up to 14 guests can dine, with or without the shelter of blinds.
Alternatively, there is also a large round indoor table which seats up to 10 and an additional table on the outer terrace seating up to 8.
For relaxed dining, the beach gazebo has a large table which seats up to 16.
