Following Seas at The Tryall Club is a luxury hideaway with panoramic views of the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea as well as mountain views of the western Jamaican landscape.
Welcomed by majestic island palm trees, guests enter Following Seas through a dramatic spiral staircase, leading to the centre piece of the home – an expansive 900 square foot of living and entertainment space which opens onto a spacious veranda with dining terrace.
There is a charming dining gazebo built around natural coral rock is an elegant setting for up to 35 guests. A separate Media cottage, with deck facing the Western coastline sunsets, offers prime seating before an large wide screen TV for movie nights and special viewings. A full commercial kitchen, bar, and large outdoor covered verandah, pool deck, bar terrace, and spa terrace combine to make Following Seas the perfect destination for parties large and small.
The Main House features four luxurious bedroom suites. The master suite features a hand-carved king bed, two private “his” and “her” bathrooms, an outdoor shower and dressing areas. The remaining suites feature one king bed, two full beds and two twin (convertible to king) beds, respectively. All bedrooms have private double bathrooms adorned with the elegance of marble and granite.
The Guest Cottage is just off the main home and has a master bedroom with hand carved four-poster king-sized bed, covered verandah and private sun terrace, a guest bedroom with 2 full beds and private terrace, living room and verandah with seating and dining area, plunge pool and kitchen with breakfast area. All rooms have ocean views.
The resort itself has a wealth of activities and amenities including watersports, spa and fitness centre.
The Great House – Guests have access to The Great House Restaurant and Bar. During the winter season, breakfast and dinner are served at the Great House Restaurant and during the summer months, dinner only. Guests can choose to dine by candlelight outside on the terrace overlooking the bay and the distant twinkling lights of Montego Bay or inside in the dining room. Each afternoon at four o’clock, afternoon tea is served on the veranda and terrace.
The Beach Café – Relaxed and informal and set beside the Tryall Club pier and overlooking the ocean, the Beach Café is a delightful lunch venue offering a choice of indoor or al-fresco seating. It is the perfect place to head to after a morning on the beach.
Golf is as much a part of The Tryall Club as the magnificent villas and the ocean views and is rated as one of the Caribbean’s finest.
Tennis is also a popular activity at The Tryall Club and has been since it was opened in 1959. With facilities that are ranked amongst the finest in the Caribbean, there are nine courts, 24 pros, hitting partners and ball boys in season as well as exceptional training facilities and a reputation that draws world champions as well as world championships.
