Guanahani Beach Club is a small intimate beachfront resort located on the south east coast of San Salvador at Snow Bay – 30 minutes drive from the island airport and an hours flight from Nassau.

The villas at Guanahani Beach Club are simple and elegant, with oak wooding flooring, crisp white walls, teak furniture and wooden louvered doors and windows. Each villa has a veranda, master bedroom with king-size bed, air-conditioning and ceiling fans and coffee maker. There is one 2-bedroom villa on site measuring 58 sq. metres.

The Patio Restaurant & Bar is located on the beachfront so guests can enjoy the panoramic ocean views and offers authentic Italian cuisine. Continental breakfast is personalised and is served on the veranda of the villa. Cooked options are available on request.

Watersports are available and payable locally. The Guanahani Surf & Sail Center is located on the premises of the Guanahani Beach Club Resort just a few steps from the hypnotizing blue-turquoise waters of Snow Bay and offers Catamaran sailing, snorkeling equipment and kayaks. Other popular activities include deep sea fishing, diving and kiteboarding and can be arranged by the properties concierge team.

Location

San Salvador is a precious gem in the Bahamas archipelago. Originally called Guanahani by the native Lucayan Indians, it is said to be the first site where Christopher Columbus landed when he discovered the new world in 1492. San Salvador is located about 200 miles southeast of Nassau. Guanahani Beach Club is situated on the south east coast of San Salvador. Please note, guests will be required to overnight in Nassau if arriving by British Airways and fly the following day.
