The Company

The Villa Collection offers luxury villa holidays in long-haul and short-haul destinations including the Caribbean, Indian Ocean, USA, Middle East, Europe and Far East. We feature a wide range of accommodations including apartments, private villas, villa resorts & hotels, and private islands. All our accommodations offer self-catering facilities with full kitchens, spacious living and dining space and many have private pools, are fully staffed and many are located close to or on the beach or ocean.

We established The Villa Collection out of a passion for luxury travel to exclusive and tropical places. The founding Directors, Andrea and Gemma, have a combined 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, with extensive backgrounds in tour operating, hotel operations and tourism marketing.

We cherry pick our suppliers very carefully and in each destination we have partners on the ground that will ensure clients receive all the support and services they require. Our villas  have been handpicked and in the destinations we know best.

Gemma holds an MBA, a BSC in Business Administration and a CIM Professional Diploma in Tourism Marketing. Gemma developed a career and passion for tourism whilst spending ten years living in Barbados in her twenties. She managed and marketed several properties in the Caribbean has also been involved in the set up and consultancy of several tourism related companies. Gemma has handpicked a large selection of the Caribbean villas having had first hand experience of living in the Caribbean, staying and visiting many of the villas on offer.

Andrea has a BA Honours and has most recently worked as a Product and Marketing Manager for a leading UK Tour operator selling long-haul destinations, including the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Far East. She successfully launched several destinations, negotiated and secured a significant amount of contracts. Andrea works tirelessly to ensure that the villas suggested to our valued clients are the best choice for them. She has close working relationships with the villa owners and managers to ensure a first class experience for all our clients.

Jan is based in Barbados and is our on the ground specialist in the Caribbean. Having lived in Barbados for 16 years, Jan is a fountain of knowledge on the island. An excellent writer, she also acts as our chief content editor for the website. Jan is also able to visit and inspect Barbados villas before they are added for sale and recommended by us.

Sian  brings with her a wealth of experience in the luxury travel market. Having spent over 26 years in the travel industry she has travelled extensively and specialises in the Caribbean, Indian Ocean and Middle East. During her time in the industry,  Sian has worked for several specialist luxury tour operators, responsible for growing their business through the UK travel trade. Over the years, Sian has developed strong working relationships with key travel agents and we look forward to growing these further through the Villa Collection.

Llinos has worked in travel industry for 6 years, she worked in hospitality at a young age, then followed her Music degree to London where she met Andrea, having stayed down south for a number of years she eventually moved back north closer to family and re-discovered her passion for travel with a role in an award winning UK cottage company dealing with all aspects of travel including reservations, owner department, marketing, complaints and sales, here she built great knowledge on the self-catering industry and after 4 years she took a side step into worldwide travel and joined an award winning travel consortium. As a key member within the commercial team she helped in negotiating contracts with suppliers, looking after several key products including luuxy, long haul, UK and villas worked with agents and suppliers to drive sales, arranged training days, events and conference. I am extremely proud to be part of The Villa Collection team and learning more from the experienced members of the team.

Katie has over 19 years experience working in the travel industry. Having moved to Orlando to work for ‘The Mouse’ back in 2004, she was bitten by the travel bug and has lived in the US, New Zealand and Barbados. She has worked in various roles within the industry, initially specialising in Australia and New Zealand for a worldwide travel company, moving into the luxury market and then representation of luxury properties and DMCs around the world. After a brief hiatus during the pandemic where she took the opportunity to move to Barbados and work as a digital nomad, assisting in her husband’s marketing company, she is now back in the UK and back in the industry she loves and working for The Villa Collection.
