    If you prefer to visit countries during the shoulder season for tourism then June or September are the best months to visit.     If historic sightseeing is top of your list, The Tombs of the Kings in Paphos is an ancient necropolis, whilst Kourion near Limassol is an impressive site featuring a well-preserved theatre. Paphos is also home to Nea Pafos and ​​Palaipafos archaeological sites, but one of the most impressive spots on the island is Choirokoitia in Larnaka, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
