Cabo San Lucas, commonly called Cabo, is a city at the southern tip of the Baja California Peninsula, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. Cabo San Lucas together with San José del Cabo is known as Los Cabos.
Los Cabos is a world-class travel destination where the well known rock formation know as “El Arco” and where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean. Los Cabos has an abundance of restaurants offering a wide range or International cuisine. The nightlife is renowned and there are a range of bars and hot spots, from microbreweries and sports bars to tequila lounges, live music venues, and late-night dance clubs.
The best time to visit Cabo is from May to June, when the wintertime crowds have gone home and the summertime storms have yet to hit. October and November are also nice months for visiting. January is the driest month and August the wettest month. If you’re into whale-watching, plan to visit between December and March.
