Overview

ÀNI Shoal Bay is a new exclusive-use private resort opening on Anguilla in January 2027, set directly above the white sands of Shoal Bay, which is consistently rated among the best beaches in the Caribbean. It is the latest addition to the ÀNI Private Resorts collection, which also has properties in the Dominican Republic, Sri Lanka, and Thailand, as well as an existing resort elsewhere on Anguilla. The entire resort is taken over by one group at a time, making it well suited to large families, multi-generational groups, milestone celebrations, corporate retreats, and destination weddings.

The resort has 15 ocean-view suites across four categories, all designed with generous proportions, private terraces, and a strong connection to the sea. Bespoke terracotta screens provide shade while allowing natural light to filter through. Every suite has a walk-in wardrobe with vanity station, a bedroom lounge, a seating area with TV and minibar, and a spacious bathroom with a soaking tub, dual vanities, and a separate shower. Twelve of the 15 suites are fully wheelchair accessible.

The Master Suite is the standout room, set within the Main House, with a separate living room, freestanding bathtub, and direct access to a large private roof deck for outdoor lounging and dining. The four Poolside Suites sit in a two-storey building beside the infinity pool, each with a large private terrace, two have connecting doors, which works well for families with younger children. The four Beachfront Suites are the closest to the water and also have private terraces and two first-floor options with private tropical garden showers. The remaining six Shoal Bay Suites occupy the first and second floors of the Main House and also have terraces. 

The Main House & Communal Spaces
The Main House sits at the heart of the estate and is where the group naturally comes together. Soaring ceilings, natural materials, and an open-plan layout create a generous, relaxed feel. There is a sunken bar, a dining area of 190 square metres, and a pool deck of 685 square metres — enough space to accommodate large groups comfortably for everything from relaxed breakfasts to evening celebrations.
The Beach Club sits directly on the shoreline, covering 315 square metres of indoor and outdoor space including expansive terraces and a beachfront bar. It's designed to work for everything from casual gatherings to larger private events and becomes a natural focal point for the group as evenings draw in.

Kids Club
The Kids Club is on the first floor of the Tower building and has dedicated indoor and outdoor play areas, supervised activity zones, and creative workshops. A separate large children's pool also has a volleyball net and waterslide. Eight hours of daily babysitting is included as standard, a thoughtful inclusion for families.

The Spa
The spa includes two private treatment rooms for individual or shared sessions, a steam room inspired by the traditional hammam, a temperature-controlled cold plunge pool, an open-air spa with warm water and hydro-massage jets set within a walled garden, and a beauty services area offering hair treatments, manicures, and pedicures. Up to 12 daily spa treatments are included in the rate for the group.

Sports & Recreation
There are plenty of activities to do on the property. The Tower building has an ocean-view fitness centre on the second floor with high-spec cardio and resistance equipment, and a rooftop terrace. Outside, there are floodlit courts for tennis, pickleball, and basketball, a bocce court, a putting green with three pitching tees, and beach volleyball and cornhole on the sand. On the water, guests have access to kayaks, paddleboards, a Hobie Cat, and underwater scooters, all of which are available for independent use or guided experiences. Coaching is available across court sports for all ages and abilities.

ÀNI's approach to inclusions is one of the things that sets it apart from a standard villa or resort rental. The rate covers private chef dining and signature culinary experiences, free-flowing beverages throughout the stay, up to 12 daily spa treatments, watersports and outdoor activities, sunset cruising, guided island exploration, Kids Club and daily children's activities, eight hours of babysitting per day, sports coaching, VIP arrivals, round-trip transfers, daily laundry, and a programme of cultural immersion experiences celebrating Anguilla's heritage. A 1:1 guest-to-staff ratio underpins everything. The resort also has a connection to the ÀNI Art Academies programme on Anguilla, giving guests the opportunity to meet local artists and commission bespoke artwork during their stay.
