Overview

Calabash is a recently renovated six-bedroom beachfront villa sitting directly on Gibbs Beach, one of the most popular stretches of coastline on Barbados' West Coast. It's a well-designed, comfortable property that works well for groups looking for direct beach access, plenty of outdoor space, and a good range of facilities.

The ground floor is open-plan, with a modern kitchen, media room, and living area that open out onto the pool deck through bi-fold doors. The outdoor space is well set up for groups, with a large lap pool, sun loungers, a pool table, BBQ grill, and dedicated pool washrooms. A private gate leads directly onto the beach, with an outdoor shower for coming and going. There's also a fire pit with seating in the garden, making it a great spot for evenings, as well as a fully equipped gym and a dedicated space for in-villa spa treatments.

All six bedroom suites are on the first floor, five of which have en-suite bathrooms. The two main suites share a private balcony with sea views, and two further suites also share a balcony. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans.

On arrival, guests are welcomed by a koi pond and water walls at the entrance, which set a calm tone for the rest of the property.

Calabash is well located within the Gibbs area, close to popular dining options including Sea Shed, and a short drive from Speightstown for shopping and restaurants.
