Overview

The Dream is a stylish seven-bedroom beachfront estate in The Garden, St James, set directly on Barbados’ Platinum Coast. Comprising a five-bedroom main villa and a separate two-bedroom Chattel House, it offers a rare combination of contemporary design, privacy and generous space for families or groups travelling together. Set at the end of a private drive, the villa enjoys a peaceful position while remaining close to the restaurants, golf and shopping of the West Coast.

The main house is designed around easy indoor-outdoor living, with open-plan spaces flowing onto the terraces and pool deck. Contemporary furnishings and high-quality finishes are complemented by two separate living areas, an upstairs bar and a fully equipped kitchen alongside a dedicated chef’s kitchen. There is also an air-conditioned media room and a fitness area, providing plenty of space to relax or keep active during your stay.

The five air-conditioned bedrooms in the main house are all en suite, with luxury White Company linen and towels and ESPA toiletries. The master suite occupies the upper level and enjoys views towards the Caribbean Sea, while the remaining bedrooms provide comfortable accommodation for larger groups.

Outside, the villa centres around a 45-foot infinity pool overlooking the Caribbean, with a spacious terrace, oversized loungers and shaded areas for relaxing. An outdoor bar, BBQ and pizza oven create a natural setting for entertaining, while the covered dining terrace is particularly well suited to long lunches and evening meals. There is direct access to the beach from the property, with the calm Caribbean waters providing opportunities for swimming and snorkelling. Two paddle boards are also available for guests.

The separate two-bedroom Chattel House provides additional privacy and independence, with two air-conditioned en-suite bedrooms, its own modern kitchen and open-plan living area, plus a private terrace, garden and separate entrance and parking. It can be rented alongside the main villa to create a seven-bedroom estate, or independently for a smaller stay. When rented separately, it does not have access to the main villa's pool.

The Dream is fully staffed, with housekeeping, groundskeeping and night-time security, while additional services such as a cook can be arranged. Its combination of beachfront living, extensive entertaining spaces and flexible accommodation makes it particularly well suited to extended families, groups of friends and special occasions.
