Villa Laguna del Mar at Casa de Campo is an extravagant two-story, Bali-inspired residence and boasts a prime waterfront location. The décor has been carefully chosen to create an oasis of indulgence indoors and outdoors. Impressive sculptures and ornamental accents, as well as custom furnishings adorn the designer-class living spaces.
Guests are greeted to this exclusive residence view wrought-iron gates and approach the entry over stepping stones surrounded by manicured lawns and tropical gardens. A large lagoon forms the centrepiece of the interior, with a pebbled waterfall and submerged planters.
Cleverly designed, with gleaming mahogany walkways on both floors, the six bedrooms (three on each floor) are to the left of the lagoon; the one-story indoor living and dining areas are to the right, while the back opens to the outdoor gazebo, terrace, pool, and the gentle waters of Minitas Bay.
An air-conditioned, multi-purpose den features a large plasma television and plenty of seating, along with two work-stations and there is an adjacent guest bathroom.
Two tables can be found in the dining room, each seating 10 on a combination of cushioned chairs and benches. French doors open out onto a terrace with another dining area for 8 persons.
The large kitchen features hardwood chestnut-hued cabinets, granite counters and stainless steel appliances along with a double-size refrigerator. An air-conditioned recreation room can be accessed from within the villa or from the outside and is located under the main floor and has games table, sofas and chairs as well as bathrooms with showers.
Outdoors is a large sunken gazebo adjacent to the lagoon, with several seating areas. White pull-down shades have been placed around to adjust as the sun’s rays shift and ceiling fans assist the natural breeze for the ultimate outdoor comfort. Just beyond the terrace, where there is an ample supply of sun loungers, is a large sparkling pool. There is a wooden boardwalk and a private pier bordering the sea, with a ladder into a salt-water swim.
The six beautifully appointed bedrooms have been individually designed and feature marble flooring and a balcony overlooking the lagoon.
