Opened in 1953, Round Hill Hotel and Villas were conceived by a Jamaican-born entrepreneur for American and European socialites to hideaway. With old-school glamour, there are 26 individually owned villas, surrounded by 110 acres of lush tropical gardens.

The private villas at Round Hill are simply exceptional and have garnered numerous awards and accolades for excellence, including the World Travel Award for the World's Leading Villa for 12 consecutive years.

Nature is at the heart of Round Hill Bay which is comprised of 26 individual villas, and the Estate is heavily influenced by Ralph Lauren's philosophy of letting nature be the focus, with interiors that are classical and elegant, yet comfortable and laid back. Ranging from two to six bedrooms, the villas face west and are nestled into the hillside offering fabulous sunsets and coastal views. Each villa has been decorated to its owners’ tastes but all share a common thread of modern refinement, classic style, and exceptional service with the majority offering private pools and all having personal staff.  Each villa offers a spacious terrace and garden and the laid-back, plantation-style elegance offers wicker, mahogany, or bamboo furniture complimented by oversized sofas and tiled flooring. Each bedroom has a light, breezy and Caribbean feel.

One-Bedroom Suites - Nestled into the hillside and surrounded by tropical blooms and lush foliage, these Caribbean-inspired luxury one-bedroom suites offer luxurious living with elevated views of the Caribbean Sea.  A king-size bed is found in the exquisitely furnished bedrooms, and suites include a separate living room for indoor/outdoor living. Spacious bathrooms boast a walk-in rain shower and separate soaking tub and all suites feature an outdoor private plunge pool. These romantic spaces are perfect for watching the sunset and offer the ultimate privacy and seclusion for an intimate getaway.

Classic Villas - secluded and private these picturesque villas showcase the original style of the resort and feature classic elements such as chequered floors, traditional furniture, and elegant yet simple designs. Dedicated staff offer the historic resort's unmatched level of service, which includes a daily catered breakfast and ensures guests enjoy the perfect home-away-from-home experience. Most of the classic villas come equipped with private pools and those without are just steps away from the resort's main pool.

Signature Villas – Available as 3 to 6  bedrooms which are perfect for families or intimate groups, the Signature Villas offer guests their own private experience. Indoor and outdoor living spaces offer classic cottage elements with stylish open-air and enclosed living rooms and guests are surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens that contain their own private pool. Staffed with their own dedicated staff, guests enjoy their own daily catered breakfast.

Estate Villas - The jewel in the crown of Round Hill, this magnificent 6-bedroom villa can be found on the edge of the tropical rainforest, offering unrivaled levels of seclusion and privacy. With stunning views and exceptional amenities, the estate villa comprises of two private pools (heated on request) and open-air living space with both a fire pit and waterfall as well as 8 bathrooms, several outdoor showers, a bar, and of course sweeping views of both the resort and Round Hill Bay. Daily breakfast is prepared and served by the dedicated villa staff for up to 14 guests.

The facilities at Round Hill Hotel and Villas include the indulgent wellness Spa, found in the restored 18th-century plantation house which features 10 acres of beachfront lawn . With an ocean view fitness center, a yoga pavilion, a full-service beauty salon, 7 treatment rooms, and an elevated treatment area, you can relax and unwind surrounded by the lush tropical Jamaican rainforest supported by the spa Butler.

While most villas offer a private swimming pool, guests can also enjoy the resort's double infinity edge pool. Extensive water sports are available and include tubing, snorkelling, water-skiing, windsurfing, pedal boards, kayaks, deep-sea fishing, and paddle boards. A complimentary glass bottom boat trip operates daily. Tennis enthusiasts can choose one of five floodlit tennis courts and other popular activities include nature walks and jogging trails.

Families can enjoy complimentary use of the newly refurbished Pineapple Kid’s Club and 7-up kids club which is open from 9 am to 5 pm and includes daily activities such as soccer games, nature walks, a creative assortment of arts and crafts, and Xbox, and story hour. Nanny services are also available for an additional charge.

There are plenty of delicious dining options at the Round Hill which includes The Grill (which has been recently redesigned by Ralph Lauren and feature black granite floors, white columns, and brass lanterns), Seaside Terrace, The Restaurant (seasonal) and the Cocktail Bar.

The Grill Restaurant , which is under the helm of Chef Martin Maginley, utilises the freshest ingredients from either the property's organic garden or local farms creating stunning dishes such as Oxtail Ravioli with Caribbean Lobster Ragout and Appleton Rum Cream Sauce as well as items which focus on the authentic exotic flavours of Jamaica. Enjoy The See, Touch and Taste program by picking your own vegetables directly from the garden for your next meal uniquely prepared by the kitchen team.

Meal plans are available at an additional charge – breakfast, half board, full board, All-Inclusive and the Platinum All-Inclusive Plan which includes private round-trip airport transfers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverage by the glass at hotel bars, one bottle of wine and fruit plate in room upon arrival and one rafting excursion on the Great River. For room service, a delivery fee is charged.
