Sugar Hill at The Tryall Club in Montego Bay Jamaica, is a beautiful eight bedroom Jamaican villa that captures spectacular views of the glistening Caribbean Sea and the lush surrounding hillside. Located high on Barnes Hill amidst 3 acres of gardens and tropical plants, Sugar Hill is only a 4 minute golf cart ride to the facilities of The Tryall Club.
The villa is built in a typical Jamaican plantation style with multiple peaked roofs, high ceilings, louver windows and doors and breezy galleries and verandas that optimize the glorious views and the refreshing mountain breezes. The interiors are elegant and accented with original Jamaican art and beautiful hand carved Mahogany furniture.
There are 4 bedrooms in the main house, including 2 master suites fitted with mahogany four poster beds, a study and private veranda. The en-suite bathrooms are spacious and luxurious, finished in marble and travertine. One master suite has a Jacuzzi bath tub and an outdoor garden shower. The two guest bedrooms in the main house have twin beds that can convert to kings.
The Guest house features a master suite, 3 guest bedrooms and its own sitting room, all of which open to magnificent views. The master suite has a queen bed and the 2 guest bedrooms (one with balcony) have flexible twin beds that convert to kings. Luxury en-suite bathrooms have marble and travertine fixtures. The sitting room has a wet bar, cable TV, and balcony overlooking the pool.
There are many spaces at Sugar Hill for relaxation including a beautifully decorated living room with a full theatre system, a games room, seating areas on the wrap around veranda and sun loungers around the stunning aqua glass tiled swimming pool. A formal dining room can accommodate up to 16 guests and more informal meals can be enjoyed outdoors on the pool deck. There is even a wood burning pizza oven and organic kitchen garden.
The resort itself has a wealth of activities and amenities including watersports, spa and fitness centre.
The Great House – Guests have access to The Great House Restaurant and Bar. During the winter season, breakfast and dinner are served at the Great House Restaurant and during the summer months, dinner only. Guests can choose to dine by candlelight outside on the terrace overlooking the bay and the distant twinkling lights of Montego Bay or inside in the dining room. Each afternoon at four o’clock, afternoon tea is served on the veranda and terrace.
The Beach Café – Relaxed and informal and set beside the Tryall Club pier and overlooking the ocean, the Beach Café is a delightful lunch venue offering a choice of indoor or al-fresco seating. It is the perfect place to head to after a morning on the beach.
Golf is as much a part of The Tryall Club as the magnificent villas and the ocean views and is rated as one of the Caribbean’s finest.
Tennis is also a popular activity at The Tryall Club and has been since it was opened in 1959. With facilities that are ranked amongst the finest in the Caribbean, there are nine courts, 24 pros, hitting partners and ball boys in season as well as exceptional training facilities and a reputation that draws world champions as well as world championships.

Resort Fees:
There is a compulsory resort fee charge on all stays as follows:
For stays one to four days: US$32 per day for guests ages 16 years and older and $16 per day for children between ages of 13 and 15.
For stays five to seven days: a weekly charge of US$160 for guests aged 16 years and older and $80 for guests between ages of 13 and 15
Resort fees are also subject to 15% service charge.
There are no resort charges for children aged 12 and under.
