Overview

La Belle Hélène is a private estate set on the waterfront at Labrelotte Bay on Saint Lucia's west coast, positioned between the island's iconic Pitons and the Caribbean Sea. A former royal retreat, it's now one of the most exclusive private villa experiences in the Caribbean, accommodating up to 20 guests across 10 individually designed suites and bungalows, each with its own distinct character and outlook. It's well suited to milestone celebrations, multi-generational groups, corporate retreats, and destination weddings, and also has daily speedboat access to the Windjammer Landing resort, giving guests access to a full range of resort amenities alongside the privacy of their own estate.

The accommodation is spread across the main house and a series of standalone bungalows set within the grounds. The Glenconner Suite is the most prominent room in the main house, with views of the Pitons, a private jacuzzi, and dual outdoor showers. The Lookout offers balcony views and a soaking tub at the top of the grand staircase, while the Botanica Suite has a sitting room and views of both the Pitons and the garden making it a good option for families. The Hibiscus Suite has a private terrace and walk-in wardrobe with Gros Piton views, and the Flamboyant Suite is a quieter option with garden views and a separate lounge. Among the bungalows, the Jetty Bungalow sits close to the water surrounded by palms with lagoon views and a rainforest shower, the Cascade Bungalow is set beside a waterfall with jungle views, and the Pavilion Bungalow is elevated with sweeping views of the surrounding landscape. The Canopy Suite and Bupa Suite round out the accommodation, the latter being a good option for solo travellers or teenagers.

Facilities on the estate are extensive. There is a large lagoon pool with a waterfall jumping wall, fire pit lounges, a private tennis/pickleball and basketball court, and non-motorised water sports. The estate's expansive indoor and outdoor spaces work well for private dining, events, and gatherings, with fitness classes and wellness experiences arranged on request. Dedicated villa service, a chef and butler service are included, and guests have access to a jungle Range Rover for nearby excursions as well as full access to Windjammer Landing's resort restaurants, spa, and curated island experiences throughout their stay.
