Overview

Villa Lovor is a lovely three bedroom villa set on the slopes of the Velebit mountain range on the northern Dalmatian coast, with uninterrupted views across the Adriatic Sea and the islands of Rab, Pag, and Mali Lošinj. It accommodates up to 8 guests and is one of the more unusually positioned villas in Croatia, being elevated, secluded, and genuinely peaceful, with a backdrop of mountains behind and open sea in front. It's a wonderful choice for families or groups of friends looking for something quieter and more off the beaten track than the busier Dalmatian resorts, without sacrificing comfort or facilities.

The interior is clean and contemporary throughout, with a minimalist design in white with blue accents that suits the coastal setting well. The ground floor has a spacious open-plan living and dining area with comfortable, modern furniture, opening directly onto the terrace. The kitchen is well equipped and is ideal for those wanting to cook delicious meals with local ingredients. All three bedrooms are decorated in the same cool, understated style, each with its own well-appointed bathroom. All three bedrooms have access to a furnished balcony with sea and island views making it a good spot for morning coffee or an evening drink.

Outside, the infinity pool uses a saltwater disinfection system with electrolysis rather than traditional chlorine, and is surrounded by sun loungers, seating areas, and hammocks hung between the trees for shaded relaxation. A hot tub sits alongside, and there is a fire pit for cooler evenings. The outdoor dining area is under a contemporary canopy with a built-in BBQ. The gardens are planted with lavender and succulents and are well maintained throughout. On the activity front, guests have access to two e-mountain bikes, two SUP boards, table tennis, table football, PlayStation 4, and darts, making it perfect for a group of mixed ages.

The location is ideal for those who want to explore beyond the villa. The ferry from nearby Stinica connects to the islands, the famous Premužić hiking trail is within reach, and canyoning and kayaking are available in the area. The nearest beach is around 1.8km away. Starigrad, Nin, and Zadar are accessible to the south, while Senj and Rijeka are to the north, giving guests a good base for day trips in either direction.
