Villa Maslina is a four-bedroom villa set in an unusual and enviable position alongside the sea canal in Nin, one of Dalmatia's most historic and characterful small towns. The property has its own private mooring for boats up to 9 metres with direct access to the open sea, a rare and practical feature that sets it apart from other properties in the region. Across 136 square metres, it accommodates up to 8 guests and combines a thoughtfully designed, artistic interior with an impressive range of outdoor facilities and water-based activities.
The interior has been thoughtfully designed and is immediately distinctive. Exposed stone walls sit alongside bright white rendered surfaces throughout, creating a warm but contemporary feel. The open-plan living and dining area is the heart of the house, with a comfortable sofa, designer seating, and a feature wall that includes a charming detail, an antique bicycle mounted as a shelf, giving the space a playful, artistic character. The kitchen is ideal for those who want to cook delicious meals from local ingredients, with all the appliances you could need, including a Dolce Gusto coffee machine.
All four bedrooms have their own distinct design identity. One has a beautiful flowering tree as a feature wall, another has exposed stone walls with art and bedding in warm beige and brown tones, and the standout master bedroom has a freestanding bathtub, beautiful beams, a super king bed, and a corner seating area where guests can make coffee without leaving the room. There are three bathrooms in total plus a hallway WC, one of which has a washing machine. Hair dryers, bed linen, and towels are all provided, along with wifi and air conditioning throughout.
Spend your days at Villa Maslina relaxing and enjoying the outdoor space. The swimming pool uses a saltwater disinfection system with electrolysis rather than traditional chlorine, and there is a Hot Spring hot tub alongside. On the water, guests have access to a Sea-Doo jet ski, two sea kayaks, and two SUP boards, all making the most of the direct canal access and proximity to the open sea. On land, two e-mountain bikes are available, along with table tennis, table football, Nintendo Switch, and darts. The outdoor area has a covered terrace with dining, BBQ, a wooden bar with a traditional feel, five deck chairs by the pool, and an outdoor shower. The gardens are planted with old olive trees, citrus trees, and palms. Four parking spaces are available on site.
Nin is a small, historically rich coastal town with a charming old town set on a tiny island, well known for its Roman ruins, salt flats, and the longest sandy beach in Croatia. It's a quieter, more authentic base than some of the busier Dalmatian resorts, and is ideal for exploring the wider region.
