Overview

Villa Eleftheria is a beautiful six-bedroom seafront villa in Ravdoucha, on the northwest coast of Crete near Kolymvari, with a path leading directly to the shore. Across 330 square metres on two levels, it accommodates up to 14 guests and has sea views from all bedrooms and most living areas. The villa has great facilities and plenty of character, and is ideal for groups looking for a quieter, more remote base on the western end of the island, within reasonable reach of both Chania and the famous Balos lagoon.

The layout is spread across two levels. On the ground floor there is a living room with direct pool and terrace access and sea views, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area. Also on this level is a good-sized entertainment area with a TV room, PlayStation, gym with treadmill and free weights, wine bar, and air conditioning — a useful space for evenings in or days when the weather is less cooperative. Two bedrooms are also on the ground floor: one double room with an en-suite shower room, sauna, sofa bed, and pool and terrace access, and one family room with an independent entrance, indoor and outdoor shower, a double bed, a double bed nook, and pool and terrace access with sea views.

The upper level has four further double bedrooms, all with en-suite shower rooms, air conditioning, ceiling fans, access to the upper terrace, and sea views. Two of these have fixed double beds; two have twin beds that can be converted to a double on request. One upper room also has its own outdoor shower and access to a private terrace.

Outside, the infinity pool can be heated on request for an additional charge. The terrace has sunbeds, shaded dining, seating and lounge areas, a yoga deck, a bar, BBQ, outdoor kitchen, and a built-in wood-fired oven — a well thought out outdoor space for groups. A path leads directly to the rocky shoreline, and Ravdoucha Beach is 1.8km away.
