Set in the hills above Maiori on the beautiful Amalfi Coast, Villa La Rovere is an elegant four-bedroom residence surrounded by a lush garden and fragrant lemon groves. The property combines traditional Italian architecture with modern comforts, with terracotta floors, vaulted ceilings and antique wooden doors giving the interiors plenty of character. Spread over four levels, the villa enjoys panoramic sea views and a peaceful setting, while the nearby town of Maiori and its sandy beach are just a short drive away. With generous outdoor spaces and a private infinity pool, it is an appealing retreat for families or friends looking to explore the Amalfi Coast.

Villa La Rovere accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One queen bedroom is located on the lower level, while the first floor has three further queen bedrooms, including a principal bedroom with sea views and an en-suite bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi bathtub and shower. Another bedroom can be converted to twin beds on request, offering flexibility for different group arrangements. All bedrooms have air conditioning, satellite television and a safe, while the bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers. The main living room is bright and spacious, with a fireplace, television and glass doors opening directly onto the garden and patio. On the lower level, a separate dining room features a fireplace and mezzanine, with the fully equipped kitchen close by. The kitchen includes a breakfast area and a wood-fired pizza oven, while the adjoining dining space opens onto a furnished pergola for meals outdoors.

Outside, the villa is surrounded by a manicured garden with a vegetable patch, two panoramic terraces and several areas for relaxing or dining in the open air. The furnished solarium is home to an 8m by 4m infinity-edge swimming pool with a whirlpool corner, offering beautiful views across the coastline. Pool heating is available on request for an additional charge, and an outdoor shower provides convenience after a swim. A barbecue and outdoor dining area make it easy to enjoy relaxed meals in the garden, while a golf cart is available to help guests travel along the private access path. 

Villa La Rovere is well positioned for discovering the Amalfi Coast, with Maiori’s beach around a five-minute drive away. From the town’s harbour, ferries connect to popular destinations including Amalfi, Positano and Capri, offering a scenic alternative to travelling along the winding coastal roads. Amalfi is known for its historic cathedral and lively piazzas, while Ravello, set high above the coast, is celebrated for its gardens and panoramic viewpoints. Positano offers colourful hillside streets, boutiques and waterfront restaurants, and the nearby villages provide plenty of opportunities to sample local cuisine and explore the coastline by boat.
