Overview

Perched above one of the most celebrated bays on the Amalfi Coast, Casa Grande is the grandest villa within the exclusive Torre Sponda complex, a private gated compound overlooking Positano bay, a flowered and gardened oasis of citrus and olive trees with around 180 private steps leading down to its own small beach with sunbeds and umbrellas.

Casa Grande sleeps up to ten guests across five beautifully appointed bedrooms, three with king-size beds, one with two single beds, and one with a queen-size bed, each with its own private bathroom. The villa also features a spacious kitchen, a welcoming living room, a dining area, a solarium, an indoor pool and large terraces. One of the bedrooms is positioned outside the main house, next to both the solarium and the indoor pool, making it ideal for guests looking for a little extra privacy.

The rooms have been designed with refinement and comfort in mind, with famous local ceramics, handcrafted fabrics and fine furnishings , these are a hallmark of the Torre Sponda aesthetic. The owners, the Gaetani sisters, are noted designers for theatre, hotels and private houses, and their talents are reflected in the care and taste of the decoration throughout. 

The terraced gardens and orchards surrounding Torre Sponda are the heart of a four-acre private complex, planted with olive, lemon, tangerine and pomegranate trees alongside more ancient species of the Amalfi Coast. A private beach and a shared pool complete the offering, making Casa Grande a genuinely rare find on this stretch of coastline.

Just a short walk from the boutiques, cafés and beaches of Positano, and perfectly placed for exploring Amalfi, Ravello and the island of Capri, Casa Grande combines the seclusion of a private villa with the very best of the Italian Riviera on its doorstep.

Please note: 

Parking: The property does not have a private parking area. We recommend Parcheggio Di Gennaro, located just a 5–10-minute walk from Torre Sponda. The villa manager will meet you at the car park and escort you to the property. Porterage can also be arranged at an additional cost. 

Swimming Pool: The pool is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, from May 1st to October 10th, depending on weather conditions.
