Set within a peaceful natural reserve on the Amalfi Coast, Villa Alora offers a secluded retreat surrounded by terraced gardens and spectacular views across the Mediterranean. Located around a ten-minute drive from the historic town of Amalfi, this three-bedroom property is the perfect choice for guests looking for privacy and a closer connection with the surrounding landscape, while remaining well placed for exploring the coastline.
Inside, the villa has a relaxed, contemporary style, with neutral tones and natural materials complementing the setting. The ground floor features an open-plan living area with comfortable seating, a dining space and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast table. The villa accommodates up to six guests across three bedrooms, each with air conditioning. One bedroom has a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom, while a separate room can be arranged as either a twin or king bedroom. The third bedroom is located in an independent annexe, offering additional privacy and its own bathroom with an outdoor shower.
Outside, the villa's terraced gardens are a particular highlight, with paths and steps winding through the greenery to several inviting spaces. A chestnut-wood pergola shelters an outdoor lounge and kitchen, providing a lovely setting for relaxed meals and time together. Further down the hillside, a small plunge pool offers a refreshing place to cool off while enjoying the sea views, while a private west-facing sundeck is ideal for sunbathing and watching the light change over the coastline. There is also access to the water below.
Villa Alora's location makes it easy to explore the Amalfi Coast, from Amalfi's historic centre and lively piazza to the colourful streets of Positano and the quieter village of Praiano. The hilltop town of Ravello is also worth a visit for its elegant gardens and panoramic views. Boat trips offer another way to discover the coastline and nearby islands, including Capri, while Pompeii and Herculaneum make rewarding excursions for those interested in the region's history.
With its secluded setting, lush gardens and far-reaching sea views, Villa Alora is an attractive choice for guests looking for a peaceful base on the Amalfi Coast. Please note that the property is spread across several levels, with numerous steps connecting the house, annexe, gardens, pool and sundeck, so it is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
