Set on a hilltop along the Sorrento Peninsula, Villa Luretta is an elegant six-bedroom property that combines the distinctive character of a preserved 1950s villa with spacious living areas and beautiful panoramic views. Overlooking the Bay of Naples towards Mount Vesuvius and the island of Capri, the villa enjoys a peaceful setting away from the bustle of the coast, while remaining just a short drive from Sorrento. Its modernist architecture, with large windows, open-plan interiors and clean lines, gives the property a distinctive style, while the extensive gardens and terraces provide plenty of space to relax outdoors.
Inside, the villa's bright, open-plan living and dining area is designed for spending time together. Marble floors, large leather sofas and carefully chosen traditional furnishings bring warmth and character to the contemporary interiors, while folding doors open towards the surrounding gardens and terraces. The spacious, fully equipped kitchen provides everything needed to prepare meals at home, with the layout making it easy to cook and socialise together. An internal lift connects the floors, adding convenience for guests moving around the property.
Villa Luretta accommodates up to twelve guests across six bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and satellite TV. The bedrooms are arranged over the first and second floors, with a combination of king-size, queen-size and twin beds to suit different groups. Several bedrooms feature private balconies or terraces, offering lovely views across the sea and surrounding landscape. The villa also has a dedicated wellness area with an equipped gym and sauna, while a panoramic terrace features a whirlpool where guests can unwind while enjoying the coastal scenery.
Outside, the extensive landscaped gardens and numerous terraces create a wonderful setting for outdoor living. The panoramic swimming pool is surrounded by a furnished sundeck, providing space to relax in the sunshine and enjoy the views. Shaded corners and furnished seating areas offer quieter spots to unwind, while a dining area beneath a pergola, alongside a traditional wood-fired pizza oven, is ideal for leisurely meals and informal evenings together. During the summer months, seasonal fruit and vegetables are also grown in the gardens.
Villa Luretta is well placed for exploring the Sorrento Peninsula and the wider Amalfi Coast. The nearest village, with local shops and everyday amenities, is approximately one kilometre away, while Sorrento can be reached in around ten minutes by car. From here, you can explore the picturesque coastal towns of Positano, Amalfi and Ravello, take a boat trip to Capri or Ischia, or discover the archaeological sites of Pompeii and Herculaneum. The city of Naples and Mount Vesuvius also make rewarding excursions, offering a fascinating mix of history, culture and spectacular scenery.
