Set directly on the shores of Lake Como, Villa Amalia is a classic waterfront residence with beautiful lake views and private access to the water. The villa combines traditional interiors with antique furnishings and a contemporary colour palette, creating a welcoming setting for families and groups of friends. Accommodating up to 12 guests across six bedrooms, with two additional single rooms available for children at an extra cost, the property offers generous space for spending time together while enjoying the scenery and relaxed pace of life on the lake.

The ground floor centres around a spacious dining room with seating for up to 14 guests, where French doors open onto a terrace overlooking the water. A fully equipped professional-standard kitchen is ideal for preparing meals, while a comfortable sitting room provides space to relax indoors. There is also a games room with a table tennis table, alongside a convenient office area for those who need to stay connected. All six main bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, and two of the queen bedrooms open onto a terrace with lake views. Air conditioning is available in all six main bedrooms.

Outside, the landscaped gardens provide an attractive setting for enjoying the lakeside location. A private heated swimming pool, measuring approximately 7.5 metres by 4.5 metres, has a sliding roof that allows it to be enjoyed in cooler weather, while sun loungers on the lawn offer a place to relax and take in the views. The paved terrace has a large outdoor dining table, making it ideal for meals in the open air, and the villa also benefits from direct private access to the lake. A private mooring buoy in front of the property is an added advantage for guests arriving by boat or arranging time on the water.

A small village with shops, restaurants and bars is around a five-minute walk away, making it easy to enjoy local life without needing to drive. Further afield, Lake Como’s picturesque towns offer historic streets, lakeside cafés, gardens and excellent restaurants, with boat trips providing a particularly enjoyable way to explore the shoreline. Como is around an hour and ten minutes away by car, while the wider region offers opportunities for watersports, walking, cycling and visits to elegant lakeside villas.

For larger groups, adjoining two of the queen bedrooms there are two additional single rooms that can be rented for an additional cost, please note they have no a/c and are only suitable for children.
