Set on the eastern shore of Lake Como, Villa Elba is an impressive south-facing residence with panoramic views across the water towards Cernobbio and Como. The property spans several levels, with extensive terraced gardens leading down towards the lake, creating a wonderful setting for a relaxing stay with family or friends. Combining traditional Italian architecture with elegant, understated interiors, the villa retains plenty of character through its high ceilings, arched windows, parquet flooring and wrought-iron details. With nine bedrooms across the main villa and a separate lakeside house, it offers generous accommodation for larger groups seeking privacy and space.
The main villa features spacious living areas designed for spending time together, including an expansive sitting room with a fireplace, a dining area and a separate TV room. Large windows frame the lake views, while the fully equipped contemporary kitchen provides everything needed for preparing meals. The main house has seven bedrooms, arranged across the upper floors, each with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. A separate house closer to the water provides additional accommodation, with its own living and dining area, kitchen and games room equipped with a pool table and table tennis. This building has a further master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, as well as a twin bedroom on a mezzanine level, making it particularly suitable for children.
Outside, the villa’s terraced grounds extend down towards the shoreline, with landscaped gardens, sculptures and private pathways to explore. A heated swimming pool measuring approximately 12 metres in length overlooks the lake, while a separate terrace below the main house features an outdoor Jacuzzi, seating area and shower. The large panoramic terrace is ideal for outdoor dining, with space for up to 16 guests to eat together while enjoying the views. At the water’s edge, a private mooring provides convenient access for boat excursions and water-taxi transfers. The villa also has a gym equipped with cardio machines and weights, along with a separate room that can be used for painting or other relaxing activities.
Villa Elba is ideally positioned for exploring Lake Como, with the charming village of Torno accessible via a private path through the estate. Its traditional piazza, local church, restaurants, bars and gelaterias are all within easy reach, while Como is around 12 minutes away by car. From the nearby lakeside towns, ferry services make it easy to visit Bellagio, Varenna and other picturesque destinations along the shoreline. Boat trips, watersports, walking and cycling offer further ways to enjoy the area, while Milan is close enough for a day trip. Daily housekeeping and cook service for breakfast and lunch are included, with food and drinks charged separately. Combining generous accommodation, extensive grounds and private access to the lake, Villa Elba is an excellent choice for a group holiday on Lake Como.
