Set on the shores of Lake Como, Villa Celestina is a contemporary lakeside retreat combining distinctive interiors with direct access to the water and beautiful views across the lake. Around a 30-minute drive from Como, the villa offers a relaxed setting for families or small groups looking to enjoy the area’s scenery and lakeside lifestyle. Traditional stonework provides character, while modern furnishings, colourful accents and carefully chosen design details give the interiors an individual feel.
The villa accommodates up to six guests across three air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed, a private terrace overlooking the lake and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and Jacuzzi bath. A second king bedroom also opens onto a lake-view terrace, while the third bedroom can be arranged as a twin or double and overlooks the garden. The main living area is bright and contemporary, with sculptural sofas, parquet flooring and a striking double-sided open stone fireplace. Large picture windows frame the lake views, while an open-plan kitchen and dining area provides a welcoming space for meals together, with skylights and generous windows bringing in plenty of natural light.
Outside, the villa’s extensive private garden stretches towards the water, with a manicured lawn shaded by olive and cypress trees. A panoramic loggia provides a sheltered setting for outdoor dining, with views across the lake and passing boats. Guests can also enjoy swimming directly in the lake from the villa’s private access gate, while an equipped beach is within walking distance for those who prefer a more traditional beach setting. The outdoor spaces offer plenty of room to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Villa Celestina is well placed for exploring Lake Como, with a nearby village offering shops, restaurants and bars within walking distance. Como is around 30 minutes away by car, where visitors can explore the historic centre, browse local boutiques or take the funicular up to Brunate for panoramic views. Ferry services connect the lakeside towns, making it easy to visit picturesque villages, gardens and historic villas along the shoreline. Boat trips, watersports, walking and cycling are also popular ways to enjoy the area.
