Overview

Villa Levante is a beautifully restored four-bedroom villa set in the DOC wine region on the slopes of Mount Etna, around 20 km north of Catania. The property offers a peaceful setting surrounded by natural beauty, while remaining within easy reach of the coast and some of eastern Sicily’s best-known towns and attractions. Its original façade retains the character of a traditional wine-making facility, while the interiors have been completely renovated with a contemporary approach.

The three-storey villa combines historic character with clean, modern design. On the first floor, a generous double living room features separate sitting and dining areas, a striking glass decorative fireplace and a vaulted frescoed ceiling. Large windows fill the space with natural light, while the soft grey walls and white floors are complemented by contemporary furniture and colourful accents. A bright, fully equipped kitchen with a central island and picture window completes the main living level.

There are four air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The first floor has two queen bedrooms, including a master with a walk-in wardrobe, double sinks and a large shower. A further queen bedroom is on the second floor, while the spacious fourth bedroom occupies the top floor and can be arranged as either a queen or twin room. All bedrooms have Wi-Fi and the bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers.

Outside, the villa sits within approximately 30,000 sq ft of manicured gardens, with a generous 17-metre salt-water infinity pool surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. A glass-walled sunroom beside the pool provides a comfortable shaded space, while a covered terrace next to the kitchen is ideal for breakfast and alfresco dining. There is also an outdoor shower, barbecue and private parking, with a gym available for guests.

Villa Levante is just five minutes by car from the nearest town and around 30 minutes from Taormina and the beach at Santa Tecla. Its position makes it particularly well suited to exploring Mount Etna and Sicily’s eastern coast, with Catania, Syracuse and Noto also within reach for day trips.
