Set among the rolling hills of the Chianti countryside, just outside Florence, Villa Campo Bello is a beautifully renovated estate surrounded by almost four acres of private gardens and olive groves. Combining traditional Tuscan architecture with contemporary design, the villa offers an elegant and comfortable setting for larger families or groups of friends. Lime-washed wooden beams, textured walls and deep-set windows retain the character of the original property, while modern furnishings and warm, neutral tones create a relaxed atmosphere throughout.
The villa accommodates up to 16 guests across eight air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom. The bedrooms are arranged over two floors, with three on the ground floor, including one suitable for guests with limited mobility. Inside, spacious living areas provide plenty of room for guests to gather, with two interconnected sitting rooms offering comfortable places to relax. The contemporary kitchen sits alongside the main living spaces and opens onto a terrace, making it easy to move between indoor and outdoor dining. A separate wellness area, accessed from the terrace, features a fully equipped gym and Turkish bath, providing an additional space to unwind during your stay.
Outside, the landscaped gardens offer several areas for relaxing and entertaining. A private 18-metre swimming pool is the focal point of the grounds, complemented by a bubbling hot tub and two gazebos offering shade throughout the day. Two outdoor dining and seating areas provide inviting settings for leisurely lunches and evening drinks, while a barbecue and traditional pizza oven are ideal for preparing meals together. Guests can also enjoy the estate’s vegetable garden and, when available, fresh produce, olive oil and honey from the property.
Villa Campo Bello is well placed for exploring both Florence and the wider Chianti region. Florence is around 20 minutes away by car, offering world-renowned art and architecture, excellent restaurants and boutique shopping, while nearby Impruneta and San Casciano in Val di Pesa are known for their local traditions and food. The surrounding countryside is dotted with vineyards and historic villages, with Castellina, Radda and Gaiole in Chianti all worth visiting for wine tasting and traditional Tuscan dining.
