Oceana Sugar Hill

Oceana Sugar Hill Barbados is a four-bedroom villa with views of the Caribbean Sea in the distance and has a prime location of Ocean Ridge in the prestigious gated community of Sugar Hill. The villa is nestled amidst tropical trees and plants and coconut palms.

Distinctive in its style and decor, Oceana incorporates the best of tropical living with a subtle marine theme throughout. The entrance hall runs through an indoor garden, a unique and stunning feature. In each room, arched, natural wood, windows and doors give a distinctive appeal and complement the coral stone walls. Sophisticated, matching jalousie shutters allow the cooling breezes through.

Three bedrooms are in the main house and the fourth bedroom is located in a separate self-contained cottage within the grounds. Each of the bedrooms are air-conditioned and has ceiling fans, walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms.

The living room opens out onto the expansive covered terrace through two sets of French windows. Beyond is the large pool deck, the gardens and the azure sea. On the right the hall leads to the lower bedroom wing with its own hallway and door for additional privacy. Across the hall is a twin bedroom, where the beds can also be arranged as a kingsize, with a private patio. At the end of the hallway is the Queen Bedroom Suite, with sitting area, which opens through French windows onto both the pool deck and the covered terrace.

The tower, reminiscent of a medieval bell-tower, is a feature of the house with its high vaulted ceiling and ornate windows. At the top of the stairs you enter the Master Bedroom Suite, with super-king size four poster bed and separate dressing room. The en-suite bathroom has a large corner bath tub, a separate shower and twin basins. Running the length of the Master Suite and approached through two sets of French windows is its private veranda, offering truly spectacular westerly views of the Caribbean Sea.

The picturesque, partially open-air dining room looking out towards the sea is an impressive feature of the house, with its own internal garden and cathedral ceiling. The spectacular black granite dining table on carved coral pedestals is complemented by a matching built-in bar, the perfect place for cocktails as you watch the sun set on the sea. Next to the house is the self-contained, air-conditioned, one bedroom cottage with en-suite bathroom and separate kitchen. This can be configured as twin beds or king size as required.

Guests of Oceana have the use of all the Sugar Hill amenities. These include a clubhouse with large pool, restaurant, fully-equipped, air-conditioned fitness centre and members lounge, as well as the first class David Lloyd tennis facilities. Sugar Hill is a gated community with security guards both at the gate and on patrol 24 hours a day.
