The Layar Villas range from one-four bedrooms and there are 23 villas that make up this contemporary villa resort. These villas are perfect for those who want to be moments from Bali's best restaurants, shops and beach bars.

The Layar Villas have a cutting-edge contemporary architecture and chic interiors. Layar means "sail" in the Indonesian language and is a tribute to the villas distance roofs that taper dramatically to the ground like the rigging of a sail boat.

Each villa is nestled in a private landscaped garden with swimming pool. Villas range from one - four bedroom homes.

The interiors of the villa are light and spacious with an open-plan living concept. Indoor living areas flow smoothly out to the swimming pool and sun deck. Many of the villas have mezzanine-level media rooms and ample indoor and outdoor seating areas. Each of the bedrooms are air-conditioned and has en-suite bathrooms.

The Layar is run along the lines of a boutique resort – complete with central kitchen and room service – so staff are on hand to tidy or serve up a sumptuous breakfast or poolside barbecue, otherwise you’ll have the villa entirely to yourself.

Dining options include a priced room service menu of international and Indonesian meals; private barbecues and other specially ordered meals can be cooked at the villa (additional charges apply). Or dine in style at Settimo Cielo, the chic Italian restaurant perched at the front of the villa estate.
