Villa Adasa is a beautifully designed three bedroom villa that is located within the exclusive gated community of Laksmana Villas, just moments away from the beach, as well as Bali's most famous restaurants, bars and boutiques.
A peaceful hideaway, Villa Adasa blends traditional Balinese design with modern comfort. Its open-air living pavilion, thatched alang-alang roof, Palimanan stone walls, and polished teak and terrazzo floors all reflect local craftsmanship. Inside, the style is effortlessly cool, with black-and-white photos of 1930s Bali mixed with bright batik cushions, an antique mirror catches the light from bowls of orchids on the dining table, and Turkish and Tibetan rugs warm the spacious floors.
Despite the traditional touches, the villa feels fresh and modern, complete with 21st-century comforts like satellite TVs. There is a real sense of space here too and it’s ideal for entertaining, but there are also plenty of terraces, balconies, and quiet corners for privacy. The bedrooms are spread over the two levels of the house, with the master suite taking up the whole first floor. The room features a king bed, large dressing area, ensuite bathroom and a full width terrace with built in seating. The two guest bedrooms are located on the ground floor and both feature king beds, ensuite shower rooms and open out onto the pool terrace.
“Adasa” means “ten” in Balinese, and the villa’s staff definitely deserve a ten out of ten. They are attentive, thoughtful, and always ready to help. The poolside bar is often the centre of activity, while the master bedroom’s loggia is the perfect spot for sunset cocktails.
This is a stylish, grown-up retreat that’s great for a group of friends who want to be close to the action. Families with kids, especially teenagers who’ll love being able to walk to the beach in minutes, will feel right at home too.
