Villa Alamanda is an ideal retreat for those seeking ultimate relaxation and peace in the beauty of Ubud, Bali. A nature lovers paradise, enjoy the traditional architecture which blends with its tropical surroundings and close to Bali's cultural centre, Ubud. Complete with alang-alang thatched roofs and polished floors and open sided terrace to soak in the tropical climate.
For those who appreciate foliage and fauna then you will love Alamanda’s gardens, which are ripe with fragrant Frangipanis, Red Heliconias and the bright-yellow Alamanda after which the villa is named. The colour of the flaura bursts against the green foliage of the surrounding tropics and jungle.
Relax alongside the infinity pool which is perched above the ravine and features a relaxing poolside balé . The Villa is fully staffed including a fabulous in-house chef who prepares delicious home-cooked meals to be enjoyed in the dining area. Why not also enjoy an Indonesian cooking class whilst there or enjoy being pampered with deluxe spa treatments. Or simply relax and enjoy the views.
A media room is also a great spot to enjoy a movie in the evening with TV, DVD player, games and toys, beanbags and sofas.
Villa Alamanda is a special place; part of a traditional wood-carvers’ village where guests can immerse themselves in the routines of daily Balinese life from elaborate Hindu ceremonies to children playing in the street. The villa’s location is convenient for accessing nearby attractions including Ubud, Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave) and the UNESCO rice terraces of Tegallalang.
The villa features four air-conditioned king-size bedrooms complete with marble en-suite bathrooms:

Surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, Villa Alamanda is located five kilometres from Ubud near the sleepy wood-carvers village of Tengkulak. This traditional village offers a fascinating insight into daily Balinese life including the colourful and hypnotic Hindu ceremonies. While the villa enjoys a remote and quiet setting it is only a short drive to many of Bali’s tourist hot spots including the famous Goa Gajah (Elephant Cave), the UNESCO rice fields of Tegallalang, the Tirta Girtu water temple at Tampak Siring, and the Bali Marine and Safari Park.
The main attraction, though, has to be Ubud, Bali’s cultural heart, famed for its art, wood carving, jewellery, textiles, antiques, restaurants, markets and cultural performances – including the Kacek dance. Three hundred metres above sea level in the foothills of the central mountain range, Ubud offers a cooler, wetter climate making it perfect for rice farming.
