Overview

Ambalama Villa is a stunning four bedroom beachfront property, just 15 minutes away from Galle, famous for it's fort as well as boutique shops and seafood restaurants. The villa sits on an enviable stretch of beach, and while guests are not able to swim directly in front of the property due to the strong surf, Wijaya beach is just a 300m walk away and is the perfect spot for swimming.

Upon entry, guests will notice the large, tastefully decorated open plan living and dining area that has an indoor/outdoor feel, surrounded by gardens and leading out to the pool area. Your in house chef will prepare delicious meals with ingredients bought fresh daily. There is a villa menu but of course favourites can also be made. Groceries are charged at cost plus 20% admin fee, we also recommend a visit with the chef to the local markets, a must do while in Sri Lanka!

The villa boasts four ensuite bedrooms split between two wings. Three of the bedrooms have king beds while one has two twins. Two of the suites also have outdoor showers and daybeds, ideal for younger children.

Spend your days at Ambalama Villa relaxing by your private pool, utilising the garden for games, yoga or meditation, and you may even be lucky enough to spot a sea turtle nesting on the beach. Your house manager can help arrange day trips further afield to the likes of Yala National Park.
