Ishq Talpe is a stylish, family owned villa set on the quiet coastline of Talpe. The property boasts 5 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep up to 14 people. It sits absolute beachfront with an active coral reef that can be explored during the season. Turtles can be spotted first thing in the morning and evening. Between November and April natural pools for swimming can be reached just a short walk up or down the beach from the villa. The best swimmable beach in the area is Wijaya beach, a 4-minute drive away.

First built by renowned Australian architect Bruce Fell-Smith in the 1990s, the villa has since undergone an extensive renovation and upgrade under the guidance of award-winning architect Philip Weeraratne. The property has Dutch colonial characteristics, with high ceiling and light airy spaces.

Four bedrooms are located on the ground floor. The garden triple suite has a king and single bed, verandah and ensuite bathroom. The garden family suite is comprised of two rooms, the first with a king bed and the second with three single beds. The rooms share an ensuite bathroom and verandah. The garden double room has a king bed, verandah and ensuite bathroom. Finally the ocean suite has a king bed, private jacuzzi, ensuite bathroom and verandah with direct access to the gardens and view of the ocean.

The master suite takes up the entire first floor and boasts a king bed, sitting room, ensuite bathroom and spectacular views out over the pool and Indian Ocean.

Spend your days at Ishq Talpe relaxing by your private pool, chilling out in the entertainment room & library, or exploring the local area. There is a good selection of local restaurants and bars but this is also the perfect base to explore further afield. Galle Fort is only a 15 minute drive away and inland you can discover tea plantations, paddy cultivations, local villages and ancient temples.

Breakfast is included but other meals can be prepared by your private chef on request (at an additional charge).
