Taking its name from the Sanskrit word for “the sea,” Akuvara is a peaceful four bedroom beachfront villa on Haad Lipa Noi, one of Koh Samui’s most beautiful and peaceful stretches of sand. Surrounded by coconut palms and casuarina trees, it offers uninterrupted views across the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand. The nearby town of Nathon is just a 5 minute drive away.
This contemporary four-bedroom villa combines modern design with a welcoming, laid-back atmosphere. Its clean architectural lines and floor-to-ceiling glass walls make the most of the ocean views, while sand-toned pathways and a lovingly maintained garden blend naturally into the tropical surroundings. Playful details, from cheerful garden statues to colourful gecko wall art, add a touch of charm and personality throughout.
Three bedrooms can be found on the ground floor, including the master, which features a king bed, ensuite bathroom with outdoor bath and a verandah that leads out to the pool deck. The additional two guest rooms also feature king beds and ensuite bathrooms. On the upper level, a self contained suite boasts a king bed, private balcony, kitchenette and ensuite bathroom.
The 13 x 5-metre infinity pool sits at the heart of the property, overlooking the sea and is the perfect spot for swimming, sunbathing, or simply taking in the view. For those feeling active, the villa offers kayaks, beach volleyball, and football, while the island’s many attractions are just a short drive away.
