Overview

While Apes Hill is probably best known for it's world class golf course, the region itself is something of a geographical wonder. The area is part of the island’s fascinating Scotland District which is a unique geographic area situated atop an underwater range that runs from Trinidad to Puerto Rico. Known as the Barbados Ridge Accretionary Prism, and one of few sub-marine mountain ranges to rise above sea level, this is a place to both enjoy the surrounding nature and play great golf. They are dedicated to preserving the flora and fauna in the area and sustainability is key, having invested in drought-tolerant grass, reduced sprinkler heads by 56%, and are committed to being carbon neutral by 2035.

For those staying on the resort, in either the 3 Bedroom Courtyard Villas or the 4 Bedroom Hilltop Villas, there are plenty of activities for the whole family. Golf is of course the main focus here, with 3 or 4 rounds included in your stay (depending on the size of villa). The 18 hole Championship course embraces the highs and the lows of the landscape, with spectacular views and vibrant Caribbean colours. The resort also includes 2 tennis courts, 8 padel courts, a fitness and leisure centre, yoga classes, plenty of hiking and nature trails and a new golf performance centre.

The luxury shopping and dining district of Holetown is only a 5 minute drive away and a new beach club is coming soon for guests to take advantage of.
