'Casa' means home in Spanish, and 'Lanui' is Hawaiian for holiday, and that’s exactly what you will find here: a place that feels like home, on the holiday of a lifetime.

Set in the exclusive northern end of Santa Teresa, Casa Lanui sits right on a beautiful stretch of white-sand beach with direct access to some of Costa Rica’s best and most consistent surf. Whether you are a seasoned surfer or just love being by the ocean, this is the perfect spot.

The villa’s design blends modern style with relaxed, beachy charm. Think classy with a touch of boho. With 7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms, Casa Lanui is ideal for large families or groups of friends looking for a private, laid-back place to unwind.

It is part of North Creek Estate, which also includes Casa Taman (4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms). You can rent either villa on its own, or both together if you're travelling with a bigger group. Together, they sleep up to 28 guests. Casa Lanui has plenty of space for everyone. There are three master bedrooms with ocean views, another master facing the garden, plus two kids’ rooms with bunk beds sleeping up to 8. There is also a separate studio with a king-size bed, its own bathroom and kitchenette which is perfect for guests who want a bit more privacy or for staff. It’s also wheelchair-friendly.

The open-plan living area connects seamlessly to the pool, deck and beach beyond. Inside, there’s a large, fully-equipped kitchen (plus a prep kitchen), lots of seating at the island, and a dining table that fits up to 20 guests, making it perfect for big meals and catch-ups. The lounge area is cosy and includes a 60” TV for movie nights.

Outside, you’ll find an infinity-edge pool with shallow lounging areas, sun beds, and plenty of space to relax with a drink in hand. There’s even a dedicated space for yoga, workouts, or massages if you are looking for a bit of wellness time.

Between the house and the beach, the grounds are naturally shaded by local trees, with hammocks and comfy loungers dotted around. There is also a large outdoor dining table close to the shore, ideal for sunset dinners or evening cocktails with the sound of the waves in the background. The beach in front of Casa Lanui is peaceful and unspoilt. Whether you're watching the surf roll in or catching one of Santa Teresa’s famous sunsets, this is the kind of place you will never want to leave.
