GETTING THERE

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic both have a scheduled daily service from London Heathrow and Gatwick and will often fly twice a day in high season to Barbados. Flights depart mid-morning and arrive Barbados or St Lucia mid-afternoon.

Most return flights leave late afternoon and arrive in London between 6am- 7am the following morning.

Virgin Atlantic also fly out of Manchester to Barbados during the winter.

From St Lucia international airport it’s a short but spectacular 25-minute flight to Mustique. From Barbados it is a slightly longer but equally spectacular 50-minute flight across the Grenadines.

The island has its own fleet of 18-seater Twin Otter aircraft that run daily from St Lucia International airport. Flights can also be arranged, on request, from Barbados.

When you arrive in either airport you will be met by Meet and Greet representative in the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name on it. They will fast-track you through all the formalities and accompany you to the Mustique lounge where you can help yourself to refreshments while waiting for your short hopper to Mustique.

Drinking water: As part of the island's sustainability programme the island has installed it’s own desalination plant and water purifying system so that the island has its own fresh water supply. The tap water is excellent but if bottled water is preferred it can be purchased at the island’s grocery stores.

Mustique enjoys a warm climate, with an average temperature range of 75 to 85 degrees (24 to 29 C) throughout the year.
