Built at the turn of the 20th century and recently restored with exceptional care, Casa Belvedere is a grand three-storey lakeside villa that manages to feel both historically authentic and thoroughly comfortable. Ancient frescoes have been uncovered and modern amenities woven in throughout, the result is a property that retains all the elegance of its era while offering everything you need for a genuinely relaxing stay.

Set over 450 sqm across three floors, the villa sleeps up to ten guests across six bedrooms. Upon entering on the ground floor guests are greeted by an elegant entrance hall and staircase leading into a cosy living room with an open fireplace, grand piano and large TV with surround sound. This floor is also home to a unique conservatory sitting area with original stained glass windows, a dining room and a fully equipped modern kitchen. 

The first floor has three bedrooms, a large suite and two double rooms sharing two bathrooms, one with a walk-in shower and one with a standard shower. A large terrace with deck chairs and parasols provides a lovely spot for a shaded afternoon. 

The second floor is home to a further three bedrooms, another large suite, a double and a single, along with two bathrooms, one of which features a beautiful antique free-standing tub alongside a walk-in shower. 

In the basement, a wine fridge stocked with a curated selection of red and white wines available for purchase, alongside a laundry room with washer and dryer.

Outside, a 3,400 square metre private park surrounds the villa, a Mediterranean garden of cypress and palm trees, orange and lemon trees, a romantic gazebo and plenty of open space for games and relaxation. The pool area is perfect for long summer days, with a large swimming pool, sun loungers and parasols.

The villa sits directly on the lakeside promenade in front of Cannero Riviera's harbour, with the village's cobbled streets, restaurants, shops and sunny beach all within easy walking distance. Ferry boats run from the harbour to destinations across Lake Maggiore and into Switzerland, while Cannobio is 7km away, Verbania 13km, and the Swiss towns of Ascona and Locarno just 23km. The Piedmont vineyards, Lake Orta and the surrounding mountains and valleys are all within comfortable reach for day trips.
