Overview

Villa Enlightenment is a stunning countryside property within walking distance to the beach and close to the town of Sciacca in Sicily. It is a four bedroom, five bathroom villa complete with private pool and lovely sea views surrounded by olive groves and provides the perfect getaway for family or a group of friends.

Inside the villa,  the living area is divided into two sections, with the dining area on one side and a traditional fireplace and seating area on the other.  The kitchen if fully equipped and french doors lead onto a terrace overlooking the private infinity pool.

The villa has two bedrooms on the ground floor - one is a double room with en-suite, the other has bunk beds, also with en-suite. On the first floor there are a further two double bedrooms, both have their own en-suite and access to the panoramic first floor terrace.

There is a fantastic infinity pool boasting fabulous views toward the sea. Relax on the furnished veranda complete with comfy seating or make use of the bbq and outdoor dining table.

Villa Enlightenment is surrounded by olive groves and a path that leads down to a pebbly beach.  A sandy beach can be found a  five minute  drive away and slightly further afield you will find the golden sandy beach of Eraclea. We recommend a  visit to  Sciacca, where you will find shops, restaurants offering many delicious fresh fish dishes!

The nearest beach is about ten minutes away by foot. The walk downhill is fairly simple, although the return up to the villa is a little more strenuous. Adventurous guests enjoy the ascent through the olive grove up to the villa. However, we do not recommend this walk for guests with young children, and we always advise wearing sturdy shoes, rather than sandals, when reaching the beach. There are many other beaches close by, the closest of which is 5 minutes away by car.
