Set above the beautiful bay of Mazzarò on Sicily’s eastern coast, Villa Il Casale is an impressive multi-level property with panoramic sea views and direct access to the beach. The villa combines elegant interiors with a relaxed Mediterranean feel, offering generous spaces for larger families or groups of friends to enjoy time together while retaining a degree of privacy. Terraced gardens filled with Mediterranean and tropical planting surround the property, while furnished terraces make the most of the coastal setting. Shops, restaurants and the Mazzarò cable car are within easy walking distance, providing convenient access to the historic centre of Taormina.

Villa Il Casale accommodates up to 12 guests across six bedrooms and five bathrooms, arranged between the main villa, a separate family annexe and an independent garden annexe. The main house has three bedrooms, including a queen bedroom suite on the upper floor with a covered panoramic terrace, and two bedrooms on the lower floor, one of which is a king master suite with a workspace, balcony access and a bathroom with a double basin, bathtub and separate shower. The family annexe, situated on the level below the pool, has two queen bedrooms with sea-view balconies, along with a contemporary living and dining area and a compact kitchen. A separate garden annexe provides a twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room, making it particularly suitable for young adults or staff. All bedrooms are air conditioned.

The main villa’s ground floor is designed for relaxed entertaining, with an elegant dining area, a comfortable sitting space and an upright piano adding character. Wide sliding glass doors open onto a furnished terrace, while the fully equipped kitchen serves both the indoor dining area and outdoor spaces. A guest bathroom and laundry room complete the floor. Outside, several furnished terraces offer different places to sit and enjoy the views across the bay. The large private swimming pool measures 16m by 5m and is bordered by a sun deck with a bar for drinks and aperitifs. Manicured terraced gardens provide a lush setting, while stairways lead directly down to the private beach, which can otherwise only be reached by sea. Additional facilities include a fitness area with exercise equipment and a treadmill, Wi-Fi, smart television with Sky TV, heating, decorative fireplaces and covered parking for up to three cars.

Villa Il Casale is ideally placed for enjoying the coastline and exploring Taormina. The Mazzarò area is known for its beautiful bay and seaside restaurants, while the nearby cable car provides an easy connection to Taormina’s historic centre, with its cobbled streets, boutiques, cafés and lively piazzas. The town’s ancient Greek theatre is a major attraction, offering spectacular views towards Mount Etna and the coast. For further excursions, guests can visit Catania, explore the slopes of Mount Etna or discover the historic streets and archaeological heritage of Syracuse.
