Located along Sicily’s beautiful Agrigento coastline, Villa Poggio Verde is a contemporary semi-detached villa set within a gated community, offering a comfortable base for families or friends looking to explore this historic part of the island. The interiors feature a clean, modern design, with a fresh palette of white, blue and grey and large floor-to-ceiling windows that allow natural light to fill the living spaces. Just a short walk from the coast and around 10km from the Valley of the Temples, the villa combines a peaceful setting with convenient access to Sicily’s beaches and cultural highlights.

Villa Poggio Verde accommodates up to six guests across three air-conditioned bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two bedrooms are located on the ground floor: a king bedroom and a queen or twin bedroom, which share a bathroom with a spacious shower. A few steps lead to the first-floor queen bedroom, which has its own bathroom with a bathtub and wall-mounted shower, as well as access to a private furnished terrace. The open-plan living area brings together a comfortable lounge with a large television, a dining space for up to eight guests and a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast counter. The simple, contemporary décor creates a relaxed atmosphere, while direct access to the patio and terrace makes it easy to move between indoor and outdoor living.

Outside, a private swimming pool sits in front of the villa, with a furnished sundeck providing space to relax in the Sicilian sunshine. The pool includes a whirlpool area, offering an additional way to unwind after a day exploring the coast. A shaded patio is ideal for leisurely meals or spending time together outdoors, while the adjoining barbecue area and pizza oven make summer cooking an enjoyable part of the stay. The villa also has Wi-Fi indoors and outdoors, satellite television with Netflix and Sky TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, heating and private parking for up to two cars.

Villa Poggio Verde is well placed for discovering the highlights of southern Sicily. The Valley of the Temples, one of the island’s most significant archaeological sites, is around 10km away and offers an impressive collection of ancient Greek temples set among olive and almond trees. The nearby Scala dei Turchi, or Stair of the Turks, is another local highlight, famous for its striking white marl cliffs overlooking the sea. The surrounding coastline offers sandy beaches and clear blue waters, while the town of Agrigento is worth visiting for its historic centre, restaurants and traditional Sicilian atmosphere.
