Each building has been lovingly restored and retains an authentic Florentine charm. The estate is also home to a restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast, as well as a wellness area that has a small gym, sauna, jacuzzi and treatment room.
THE VILLA
The main building of the Dimora Ghirlandaio - the Villa - is the perfect place to stay for those wanting to experience true Tuscan hospitality in a private and magnificent setting. You will find 6 of the estate's king size rooms here.
Ground Floor
On the ground floor of Villa you will be greeted by a vast hall with a fireplace where you will be able to relax in the comfort of its soft sofas. The warm hues of the wood floor harmonise with the pastel walls, lit by the natural light from the windows that open onto the outer balcony. Further up, a magnificent coffered ceiling in the style of the period. The hall opens onto a large dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a bedroom, and a library/study. The two-coloured kitchen floor alternates Bardiglio and Carrara marble. The walls are decorated with geometrical trompe-l’oeils that endow all the rooms with a timeless grace.
Top Floor
On the top floor you will find three double bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom trimmed in precious marble of different colours. The whitewashed walls make for a bright and warm atmosphere, highlighted by the durmast wood floors. A feature of every room, a magnificent view of the beautiful gardens surrounding the Dimora and the landscape of hills, woods, and silver-hued olive groves.
Dovecote
On Villa’s third level, just above the southern pitch of the roof, stands the ancient dovecote, now the villa’s most exclusive room. From here your will enjoy an overall view of the surrounding landscape and your gaze will be filled by its magnificent variety. From the gentle hills to the mountaintops that in the winter become clad in snow. But above all, the breathtaking view of the city of Florence, from the Certosa Monastery to the extraordinary Cupola designed by Filippo Brunelleschi for the Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral.
Lemon House
Set in the Italian-style gardens of the villa, the antique Lemon House has been refurbished to create an annex with an additional double room.
FATTORIA
One of the original buildings of Dimora Ghirlandaio, Fattoria has been lovingly restored and modernised, offering guests elegance and comfort. Within the halls of the building you will find rooms where you can sample local products, most importantly of course being olive oil. The living room boasts a large stone fire place and all rooms have been restored to showcase the original vaulted ceilings with Impruneta terracotta tiles, used in many Florence buildings and made locally.
Bedrooms
Four large and comfortable bedrooms are located in Fattoria, two king size, one queen and one single room. Enjoy stunning views of Florence from rooms with wooden floors and carefully selected furniture, creating an atmosphere of calm and serenity.
Private Chapel

A light and airy dining room leads out to the inner courtyard.
