Villa Donatella is a remarkable castle situated in the Val Tiberina - a captivating historical enclave nestled on the confluence of Tuscany, Umbria, and Marche. The property is only an hour from Arezzo and 2 hours from Florence and invited guests to immerse themselves in an ancient era yet in contemporary luxury. Villa Donatella is an ideal hub to embark on an expedition to uncover the finest offerings of these three regions or a stately haven for indulging in local wines and culinary delights, all while basking in the shadows of Renaissance antiquity.

The castle is located inside the area called Valtiberina, a rural valley that takes its name from the Tiber River. It is a rural and untouched natural area rich in history. This destination is in the vicinity of Anghiari Arezzo and Cortona, with restaurants, bars, wine bars, and gelaterias. The region includes part of Tuscany, Umbria and Marche. It boasts the artificial lake of Montedoglio in the immediate neighbourhood and the lake Trasimeno in a little more than one hour's drive.

Villa Donatella can accommodate 24 guests in 3 double and 9 either twin or double bedrooms, of which 10 with ensuite bathrooms and 2 with a shared bathroom. The building is able to accommodate 12 people at the table indoors together.

Other impressive amenities include a private holy church with seats for 20 people. In the main castle is a living room with sofa area and 80” smart TV. The kitchen is well equipped with 6 fire burners and a grill, double electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, electric wine cellar and Nespresso coffee machine. The indoor dining area can seat 14 guests but there is alfresco dining with seating for 24 guests. There is a professional gas BBQ.

Days can be spend relaxing at the swimming pool with Jacuzzi. There are 4 sun loungers and 6 outdoor pouffes and a table with 8 seats and a sun umbrella

The estate is one hour from Arezzo train station, which offers regular service to Florence in under an hour by Freccia Rossa or Intercity. From Florence, the connections are to Milan (1 hour and 55 minutes), Rome (1 hour and 37 minutes) and Venice (2 hours and 14 minutes).
