Overview

Villa Millstone is a lovingly restored 7 bedroom property in the heart of the Chianti region. The villa is only 20 miles from Florence and 30 from Siena, both worth visiting for the day. Guests will also have private access to the nearby river Pesa.

The property comprises of a central building and two barns, surrounded by manicured gardens. Entering on the ground floor guests will be greeted by a light and airy living room with exposed wooden beams, leading through to a grand dining room with an open fireplace and bread oven. Guests will also discover a perfectly preserved kitchen, dating back to the 6th Century. A modern kitchen has also been added, equipped with everything you could need to create delicious Italian dishes.

The first of the 7 bedrooms is also located on the ground floor. Named the Antique Room, it boasts a queen bed and large private bathroom.

On the first floor, guests will find a second living room with access to a further two suites. Each of these rooms has a queen bed and luxurious private bathroom with travertine showers. One also features a freestanding bath and beautiful views out over the villa's garden.

The final suite in the main house is located on the garden floor and has direct access to a private patio. The room has been carved out of the ancient mill's manger, with features still evident in the private bathroom.

The first of the two barns has two levels and features a double bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor and a twin bedroom in the loft space, overlooking the pool area. A patio and lateral loggia are the perfect outdoor dining area.

The second annex, formerly an ancient sawmill boasts a lounge area with a fireplace, kitchen and a double bedroom with an open shower.

Spend your days at Villa Millstone relaxing by the pool or in one of the many shaded areas around the property. Cook authentic Italian pizzas in the two outdoor pizza ovens and enjoy lazy evenings with locally sourced wine.
