Set within a beautifully landscaped private estate in the Tuscan countryside, Villa Orizzonte is an elegant country residence offering generous accommodation and a peaceful setting for larger groups. Located around 25 minutes by car from Florence, the villa is ideally placed for exploring the region’s historic cities, vineyards and picturesque villages. Traditional architecture and original frescoes give the interiors plenty of character, while a restrained colour palette and contemporary touches create a comfortable and understated feel throughout.
The villa accommodates up to 18 guests across nine bedrooms and ten bathrooms, with air conditioning in every bedroom. The interiors combine family antiques and traditional furnishings with modern comforts, creating a welcoming setting for time spent together. On the ground floor, an elegant dining room features a long table seating up to 18 guests and opens onto a panoramic terrace. A spacious sitting room with a fireplace provides a comfortable place to relax, while a separate breakfast room features warm wood panelling, exposed brickwork and an open fireplace. There is also a contemporary kitchen, a cosy TV room and a library with another fireplace. Upstairs, a further sitting room with original frescoed walls and a separate reading room provide quieter spaces to unwind.
Outside, the manicured grounds feature winding garden paths bordered by roses, cypress trees and fragrant flowers. A private 15-metre infinity-edge swimming pool is surrounded by a stone sun terrace with loungers and shaded areas, offering plenty of space to relax in the Tuscan sunshine. The panoramic terrace in front of the villa is ideal for outdoor dining, with views across the surrounding landscape. Guests also have access to a communal tennis court within the estate, while the extensive gardens provide room for children to play and explore.
Villa Orizzonte is well positioned for discovering Tuscany, with Florence within easy reach for its Renaissance architecture, museums, boutiques and restaurants. The Chianti region is also nearby, offering opportunities to visit traditional wine villages such as Greve, Radda and Castellina, as well as local vineyards and historic estates.
