Villa Son Bruc is a stunning residence featuring an original turret dating back to the 13th century and is built in the traditional Mallorcan style around a tranquil courtyard. Inside, rustic charm meets refined comfort, with exposed stone walls, elegant contemporary furnishings, and carefully curated modern artworks creating a space that feels both timeless and inviting.
Set within a 700-acre estate, high in the Tramuntana Mountains, Villa Son Bruc offers fabulous views over Mallorca’s northwestern coastline. Its landscaped gardens overflow with lush Mediterranean plants, their scent mingling with the pine forest that surrounds the villa.
Reached via a private four-kilometre driveway that winds through the mountains, the approach to Villa Son Bruc is as captivating as the destination itself. The surrounding landscape is dotted with pine woods, ancient olive and almond groves, and neatly terraced citrus orchards. From the estate, scenic walking trails stretch in every direction, including a coastal path leading to Son Bunyola Beach, just 20 minutes away on foot. Despite its tranquil isolation, the charming villages of Banyalbufar and Esporles are within easy reach, while the vibrant capital, Palma, is just 35 minutes’ drive away.
With four beautifully decorated bedrooms spread over three floors, the villa comfortably accommodates up to eight guests. Each room is uniquely styled, blending traditional Mallorcan furniture with soothing neutral tones and splashes of colour from local artworks. All bedrooms feature their own private bathrooms and striking views across the mountains and coastline. The most distinctive bedroom can be found high in the villa’s ancient stone turret, reached by a winding staircase and offering a panoramic outlook over the surrounding sierra.
Wander down through the gardens to the large swimming pool, where comfortable sun loungers are perfect long, lazy afternoons beneath the Mallorcan sun. The pool can be heated during cooler months, and a poolside bar makes it easy to mix up a drink or two between swims. Shaded seating areas provide quiet corners for reading, while a comfortable outdoor lounge next to the house offers spectacular views over the sea.
Inside, the villa’s warm and welcoming living spaces include a cosy sitting room with a fireplace and a mezzanine TV area, which is perfect for evening relaxation. Guests also enjoy access to a shared tennis court and a shared Padel court on the estate, complete with rackets and balls.
The villa’s granite-topped kitchen comes fully equipped with everything needed for relaxed self-catering, including a breakfast table and French doors that open onto a sunny terrace. Inside, an intimate dining room provides a lovely setting for cooler evenings, while outdoors, an al fresco terrace with a long dining table for eight invites leisurely dinners accompanied by gentle sea breezes and sweeping views.
For dining out, nearby Banyalbufar offers restaurants with some of the island’s most stunning coastal views, while Esporles, just a few kilometres inland, is home to excellent local eateries serving authentic Mallorcan cuisine.
