Inland you will find traditional villages such as Lefkes and Marpissa with their whitewashed houses, cobbled lanes, and panoramic views across the Aegean. The vibrant harbour towns of Parikia and Naoussa boast excellent dining, and a lively yet relaxed evening scene.

As well as fabulous beaches, Paros is rich in history and traditional charm. We recommend visiting Parikia Town where you can wander through the historic lanes and waterfront and visit Panagia Ekatontapiliani, the ancient “Church of 100 Doors”, as well as Naoussa a picturesque fishing village with a Venetian harbour, chic bars and excellent seafood restaurants.
One of the most popular day trips in Paros is taking a boat tour around the coast and to nearby island Antiparos. Stop at hidden beaches, sea caves, swimming spots and snorkeling locations in the sparkling Aegean Sea.
Paros has a stunning coastline with crystal-clear waters, sandy bays, and hidden coves. Watersports are also particularly popular here including windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUP and kayaking. Some of our favourite beaches include Kolymbithres Beach which is very photogenic, and Golden Beach which is great for windsurfing and kite surfing.
The weather during peak season is usually warm and dry with temperatures of around 27-35°C. This is the perfect time to enjoy the beach as well as the lively restaurants and beach clubs. Tourist levels will be at their highest at this time of year.
This time of year still has lovely weather, with sunny skies and warm temperatures of 22-30°C. It is great for those looking to get out and active and enjoy the beaches on the island without the busy tourist crowds.
Winter is very quiet in Paros. Temperatures reach around 12-20°C. The island will be very quiet with many restaurants, bars and attractions closed for the season. It is a nice time of year for hiking or perhaps a writing retreat.
