These are the most commonly asked questions, if you have any other queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us:
The majority of private villa rates are for the entire villa and up to the maximum occupancies stated, however many do sell at under occupancy rates, for instance, a 5 bedroom villa may also have a 3 or 4 bedroom rate. Villa resorts however are often based on 2 adults sharing per bedroom and then additional charges for extra adults. Children’s policies vary with some resorts allowing children or first child free, and most offer infants free and provide cots as needed. Be sure to let us know the size of your party including the number and ages of children so that we can quote you correctly. Please advise us immediately in the event of the number in your party changing after you have booked with us.
The majority of our villas are family-friendly and great for children. There are a few that are either adults only, require children of a minimum age or are simply more suited to adults. Allow us to ensure you choose an ideal option if you are travelling with children.
Most villas will require a 4 to 7 night stay, depending on the time of year. High seasons may require longer stays with many requiring 10 – 14 nights over Christmas/New Year.
Seasons depend on the destination. In the Caribbean, for instance, the high season is from mid-December until mid-April (around Easter time) and low season the rest of the year. Whereas Europe is the exact opposite, with key travel months being July and August. We strongly recommend you book as far in advance for the high season, when demand is at its greatest.
On first glance most people think villas look far more expensive than a hotel, however, remember that most of our villas are priced for the entire property and therefore the per person rate is often far better value than booking several rooms at a luxury hotel. Plus, you have the place to yourself in a fabulous location that rivals most hotels!
Not all villas automatically include full-time staff and our individual villa pages denote what staff services are included in the rate. If you would like additional staff or services or to include a cook if one is not included, we can offer this at an additional cost. Allow us to organise for you in advance. All villas will include some housekeeping services as a minimum (please confirm frequency with us).
Most of our villas offer a pre-stocking service if you wish to have groceries purchased and the kitchen stocked on arrival. We highly recommend this if you are booking a long haul holiday. If your villa includes a cook you may pre-order arrival meals. Groceries will nearly always be at an additional charge.
We certainly can. We have preferred transport companies in each destination that offer private airport transfers, car hire, excursions and tours.
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions page.
Most villas will take a security deposit (refundable) on your credit card on arrival to protect against property damages or we will hold on their behalf. Deposits are outlined on the individual villas page on the website and advised at time of booking.
We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance that covers penalties if you need to change your booking and insurance for any accidents or events during your holiday.
All our villas are vetted for their security. Many have secured access and security guards and the vast majority have safes for your possessions. Our in-destination agents are available to contact in the event of an emergency. Our featured destinations are known for their safety and friendliness, but we recommend that you always remain vigilant as you would whenever you travel.
