Overview

Villa Agung is a splendid five-bedroom Balinese villa in a swanky new Ubud estate, The Pala. In the heart of Ubud, the estate offers a range of accommodations from one to five bedrooms that can all be booked together to form a 16 bedroom property perfect for large family get togethers or celebrations.  

Inside, Villa Agung combines comfort with history, furnished with family heirlooms and unique artefacts, including furniture gifted by a former President of Indonesia and rare works of art. Notable pieces include a sailboat crafted entirely from cloves and a coin-sculpted statue. With large living areas spread over two floors, the villa offers plenty of space for groups, accommodating up to 10 guests in five bedrooms without ever feeling crowded.

Four bedrooms feature king-sized beds, while one offers twin beds, spread across both levels for privacy and convenience. Expansive windows open onto a balcony overlooking the pool and gardens, which also serve as a beautiful venue for weddings and special events. The lower level houses an open-plan living and dining area that flows directly into the garden and pool, with gently sloped steps designed for accessibility and multi-generational use.

Guests can enjoy meals at the estate’s Hura Restaurant or make use of Villa Agung’s fully equipped kitchen. 

Beyond the villa, the estate offers curated experiences for all ages. Families can tour the fruit and vegetable gardens, join rice planting or harvesting in the paddies, or unwind on the riverside lawn, ideal for yoga, spa treatments, or picnics. Tucked into a quiet hillside, The Pala is only 6 km away from central Ubud and its many charms.
