Montpelier Plantation is an AAA Four Diamond award recipient and Relais & Châteaux member. This boutique hideaway is situated on 60 acres amidst lush tropical hills at the base of the majestic Nevis Peak and is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Originally constructed as a sugar mill in the 18^th century, this property is located six miles from its own private beach – 750 feet above the vibrant sea. This property, a colourful colonial heritage, features rugged cobblestone and intricate antique accents and is intertwined with a classic contemporary motif characterised by modern artwork and sleek furnishings.

Guests have access to the resorts amenities. There are 3 restaurants; Restaurant 750 offers light and modern cuisine in an al fresco setting. Indigo embodies easy going island dining. Mill Privé is extremely unique as it is located in the hotels 300-year old sugar mill. There are several bars on the property.

For hotel guests only, Montpelier Plantation & Beach’s secluded three-acre beach is situated within a quiet cove and equipped with umbrellas, gazebos, lounge chairs and cabanas, as well as bar service and lunch delivery and a pavilion for barbecue lunches. Regular transportation to and from the beach is provided by the hotel. On Mondays, a sunset barbecue dinner is offered on the beach for guests, and on Thursdays, a lazy beach barbecue.

Guests can also take advantage of the 60-foot mosaic-tiled freshwater swimming pool, tennis, play- room and library. The Spa Suite offers a full range of treatments.

Tamarind Villa: Tamarind Villa is located in its own personal corner of the 60 acres of gardens, facing south and has private deck with plunge pool. Tastefully decorated in a chic plantation style, this stand-alone cottage features high-beamed ceilings and elegant wood flooring throughout. French doors open onto two covered porches, a sun deck with chaise lounges and a soothing plunge pool perfect for an evening dip. This villa has two bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. There is a full entertainment centre in the living area with flat-screen TV, DVD player, CD player and MP3 station.
