The island features truly exquisite beaches such as Anse Lazio and Anse Georgette, both appearing on the top-10 list of world’s best beaches in recent years.
La Digue is a close neighbour to Praslin and to its satellite islands of Félicité, Marianne and the Sisters Islands, La Digue is the fourth largest island in Seychelles. All 3 of the main islands are within easy reach of each other by sea or air. For the more adventurous, other popular islands include Fregate or Bird Island and are particularly popular with nature lovers and bird watchers.

The Seychelles has plenty of exotic marine life that can be found across many sites. Some of the most popular include the Aldabra Atoll, a UNESCO protected site home to one of the planet's largest coral reefs with 3,000 fish per square meter and critically endangered hawksbill turtles, and Shark Bank, where divers can experience swimming with groupers, barracudas, rays, whitetip sharks, and even whale sharks.

The Seychelles has many spectacular beaches to choose from depending on what island you choose to stay on. Some of our favourites include; Anse Source d'Argent on La Digue which is famous for its granite boulders and turquoise waters, Anse Lazio on Praslin which is often ranked among the world’s most beautiful beaches, and Beau Vallon on Mahé which is perfect for water sports and dining by the beach.
These are the transition months between monsoon seasons, typically offering calm seas, light winds, and warm, dry weather. This time of year is ideal for beach relaxation, snorkelling, diving, island hopping and whale shark spotting. There is also less humidity and fewer tourists than in peak months. For bird watching enthusiasts, April is the breeding season with May to September nesting season.
This time of year is characterised by warm temperatures but higher humidity and rainfall (especially in December & January). Winds are lighter, making it good for snorkelling and diving, however this is the peak season and tourist levels will be higher.
These months do have less rain but feature stronger winds, especially on east-facing beaches. This time of year is best for surfing, sailing, and hiking, but not ideal for snorkelling due to rough seas.
