Sanur – Sanur is becoming a popular choice for visitors – it is not as frantic as Kuta yet more lively than Nusa Dua. There is a good mix of restaurants and bars that aren’t all owned by resorts.The beach is protected by a reef and breakwaters, so families appreciate the crystal clear waves.
Seminyak – Seminyak is a beach resort area on the southern end of Bali, with abundant luxury hotels, villas and spas, as well as high-end shopping and restaurants. For keen walkers, the sunrise Mount Batur Trek is not to be missed. Thrill seekers can ride the rapids on the Ayung or Telaga Waja rivers. Bali is a surfer's dream, with the best waves to be found at Canggu, Uluwatu, or Kuta. For divers and snorkelers, the marine life around Nusa Penida, Amed, and Menjangan Island is spectacular.
During this season the weather is characterised by warm, sunny days with low humidity and little to no rainfall. Temperatures range between 26–30°C. This time of year is perfect for surfing with excellent waves, particularly in Uluwatu, Canggu, and Kuta. Divers will find clear waters and great visibility, especially around Nusa Penida and Amed. Several festivals take place over this period, including the Bali Arts Festival (June-July) and Nyepi Day of Silence (March, sometimes April).
The weather will tend to be hot and humid with frequent rainfall, typically in the afternoon or evening. Temperatures remain around 27–32°C. This weather means that Bali’s landscape is transformed into a verdant paradise with lush tropical greenery. You will also enjoy less crowds and a quieter, more relaxed experience.
